Unveiling of the entrepreneurial works of students from \u00c9cole secondaire des Chutes in Rawdon.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On April 11, students at Rawdon's \u00c9cole secondaire des Chutes proudly presented the fruit of a long process of reflection. As part of the school's cultural week, the students unveiled a series of works reflecting their entrepreneurial dreams. Under the theme My passion, my dream, my business<\/em><\/strong>In its first year, the project enabled 52 students from 1re<\/sup> and 2e<\/sup> \u00a0secondary courseArt and entrepreneurship<\/em>The aim is to highlight the job or type of entrepreneur they want to become. The works created by the students are represented in the form of two (2) paraposts, which will be on display throughout the region over the coming year. This project was carried out in collaboration with Carrefour jeunesse-emploi (CJE) Matawinie, Coop\u00e9rative de d\u00e9veloppement r\u00e9gional (CDR) du Qu\u00e9bec - r\u00e9gion Lanaudi\u00e8re, and Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d'aide au d\u00e9veloppement de la collectivit\u00e9 (SADC) Matawinie.<\/p>\n

My passion, my dream, my business
\n<\/strong>Since November 2015, participating students have taken part in a process of reflection on their future aspirations in terms of employment or business. Supervised by the teacher of theArt profile entrepreneurship<\/em>With the help of their teacher, Ms. Annie St-Pierre, the students began the project and embarked on an artistic process. The project even made its way into their French class, where a writing project was added to the reflections.
\nFran\u00e7ois Boisvert, principal of \u00c9cole des Chutes, emphasized the importance of the project for the school at the press conference: \" This project, combining art and entrepreneurship, will have made a creative contribution to the students' career orientation process, without any barriers. Dreams and passion being at the heart of the approach<\/em> \". Workshops on entrepreneurship and preparations for the launch were also given in collaboration with partners CJE, CDR and SADC. It was in a festive atmosphere and with great pride that the students unveiled their works, which will be on display at the school throughout the cultural week, which includes a full and dynamic program. \"This is a fine example of a close and fruitful collaboration between various organizations and the school community, giving students a meaningful experience in two spheres of activity: the arts and entrepreneurship. I'd like to thank everyone who helped make this inspiring project a reality,<\/em> said Michel Forget, President of the Commission scolaire des Samares.<\/p>\n
