Around a hundred entrepreneurs and organizations were on hand to develop their business networks, under the theme of innovative culture. This networking opportunity brought together seasoned entrepreneurs with new business ideas. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.matawinie.qc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Equip_SADC_Souper_500-1.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2971 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.matawinie.qc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Equip_SADC_Souper_500-1.jpg\" alt=\"Equip_SADC_Souper_500\" width=\"500\" height=\"331\" \/><\/a>businesses, and bring together people from all corners of our vast territory.<\/p>\n<p>Innovative culture is a hot topic right now, due to the major changes we're facing in our era. New technologies, open markets, e-commerce - there are many reasons to change the way we do things, and to turn these changes into opportunities. That's what Michel Landry, expert innovation consultant, addressed during the evening. A lively exchange took place on this issue, which companies will inevitably have to face. A program of conferences offered by Lanaudi\u00e8re's SADCs is scheduled for the autumn. \"A superb evening at Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci, where dynamic entrepreneurs exchanged views on a variety of innovation-related topics. A great success!\" shared Marc-Andr\u00e9 Forest, President of ELPC.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u><br \/>\nThe Municipality of Saint-Donat, named 2017 Municipality of Light<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Jo\u00e9 Deslauriers, mayor of Saint-Donat, was proud to receive the Municipalit\u00e9 en lumi\u00e8re award on stage. It was the development of its own trademark \"Parc naturel habit\u00e9\" that earned the municipality the accolade. By officially becoming a<a href=\"http:\/\/www.matawinie.qc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Municipalite_Lumiere_Saint_Donat_500.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2964 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.matawinie.qc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Municipalite_Lumiere_Saint_Donat_500.jpg\" alt=\"Municipalite_Lumiere_Saint_Donat_500\" width=\"500\" height=\"293\" \/><\/a> As an inhabited natural park, Saint-Donat puts nature and the environment at the heart of its economic development. The People's Choice Award was determined by an online popular vote, in which the entire population was invited to participate. For the municipality of Saint-Donat, this is the start of a vast process, in which the business community will be invited to get involved by becoming certified local inhabited nature park businesses.<\/p>\n<p>So it was in a most inspiring atmosphere that this 4<sup>e<\/sup> edition of the Souper tournant des gens d'affaires en Matawinie was held.
