The money will support the Synergie Lanaudi\u00e8re project, which aims to help the region's industries, businesses and institutions (ICI) realize by-product synergies in order to create a territorial industrial symbiosis. By supporting this project, the government hopes to promote the circular economy approach and help businesses reduce their environmental footprint.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In concrete terms, this project aims to get a company that currently has to pay to dispose of a residue to transfer or sell it to a company that needs this material for its production. The resulting Lasymbiose is an upstream solution to the integrated management of residual materials on a regional scale, and increases the productivity of resources circulating on the market. Lasymbiose also contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gases, by locally implementing<br \/>\nComplementary networks and shorter supply and development circuits<br \/>\nresidual materials.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Thanks to this financial support, Lanaudi\u00e8re \u00c9conomique will continue identifying and securing<br \/>\nsynergies between the region's businesses, and make more ICIs aware of the benefits of the local economy.<br \/>\nand will be able to identify complementary companies that would benefit from<br \/>\nto set up in the Lanaudi\u00e8re region, considering the opportunities and sectors of activity.<\/p>\n<p>This is made possible by the Green Fund, whose revenues come mainly from the carbon market,<br \/>\nthis financial support for Lanaudi\u00e8re \u00c9conomique is in line with the government's strategy of<br \/>\nsustainable development 2015-2020. It also illustrates this commitment in concrete terms<br \/>\nto build a green, prosperous and sustainable economy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The circular economy: driving sustainable development<\/strong><br \/>\nThe circular economy is a system of production, exchange and consumption that aims to<br \/>\noptimize the use of resources at every stage in the life cycle of a good or service, in<br \/>\nthe concept of circularity, while reducing the environmental footprint and<br \/>\ncontributing to the well-being of individuals and communities. APTEC is focusing more specifically on one area of the circular economy, namely<br \/>\nindustrial and territorial ecology. The aim is to create synergies between companies, i.e.<br \/>\nexchanges, so that the circulation of resources moves from a linear to a circular model.
