In front of 310 people, the 20<sup>e<\/sup> he regional final of the D\u00e9fi OSEntreprendre Lanaudi\u00e8re, held at the Club de golf Le Mirage in Terrebonne, was, as always, an opportunity to discover inspiring and promising entrepreneurial projects! The winning projects in the Student Entrepreneurship, Business Creation and Success Inc. categories now move on to the ultimate stage, the D\u00e9fi OSEntreprendre national finals. 26 entrepreneurial projects were crowned. This year, the organizing committee set up 7 special prizes: recognition from the Table d'action en entrepreneuriat de Lanaudi\u00e8re for student entrepreneurship and business creation, perseverance in school, popular vote for student entrepreneurship and business creation, Femmessor Lanaudi\u00e8re and D\u00e9fi OSEntreprendre Lanaudi\u00e8re ambassador. Regional winners shared a total of 20,000 $ in bursaries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The honorary regional president of this 20<sup>e<\/sup> Dominic Larin, vice-president of Lounge Factory in Terrebonne, said: \"The quality of our school entrepreneurial projects, the boldness and ingenuity of our emerging companies, and the influence and performance of our seasoned businesses are all evidence that Lanaudi\u00e8re is both a cradle and fertile ground for an entrepreneurial spirit of which we should be proud, and of which we can all take full advantage.<em>.<\/em>\u00a0\"<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Review of the 20th edition<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This year, the D\u00e9fi OSEntreprendre Lanaudi\u00e8re attracted no fewer than 93 Student Entrepreneurship projects. This component encourages initiatives that contribute to the development of entrepreneurial values in schools and extracurricular activities, from preschool to university.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Business Creation program is aimed at people aged 18 and over who are in the early stages of realizing their business project. A total of 63 business projects were submitted to the 20<sup>e<\/sup> edition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Last but not least, the R\u00e9ussite inc. section recognized companies that had participated in one of the editions of the D\u00e9fi OSEntreprendre between the 1<sup>re<\/sup> and the 14<sup>e<\/sup> edition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><u>2018 STUDENT Lanaudi\u00e8re<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Over the past 20 years, 2,073 student entrepreneurship projects have been launched, and 850 business projects have been submitted to the D\u00e9fi OSEntreprendre Lanaudi\u00e8re. Over the years, far more than the 218,325 $ that can be seen has been awarded to participants in the region.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The success of the Entrepreneurial Adventure in Lanaudi\u00e8re is the result of close collaboration between the region's schools and socio-economic organizations over many years. Coordinated by Lanaudi\u00e8re \u00c9conomique, this 20th edition is implemented by the Centre local de d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique des Moulins (CLDEM).
