A regional agent and financial support for Lanaudi\u00e8re businesses wishing to adopt eco-responsible practices and clean technologies.<\/h2>\n

Companies in the Lanaudi\u00e8re region wishing to enhance their performance and competitiveness by implementing eco-responsible practices or clean technologies can now count on the Fonds \u00c9coleader, a large-scale project officially launched today in the region. Relying on a network of agents in every region of Quebec and a funding envelope of 18.5 M$, this initiative of the Minist\u00e8re de l'\u00c9conomie et de l'Innovation (MEI) aims to reach some 50,000 companies across Quebec, including more than 2,800 in Lanaudi\u00e8re, by March 2023, in order to guide and support them in carrying out their projects.<\/p>\n

Companies wishing to improve their environmental performance, particularly in the areas of energy efficiency, residual materials management, water management, sustainable development, circular economy, eco-design and packaging optimization, are invited to contact V\u00e9ronique Morin, \u00c9coleader Fund agent for the Lanaudi\u00e8re region, to discuss their project. Ms. Morin's mandate is to meet with companies and direct them to the experts, funding sources and tools needed to carry out a project that meets the specific needs of each company.<\/p>\n

For the duration of the project, Ms. Morin will be housed at Lanaudi\u00e8re \u00c9conomique, a non-profit organization whose mission is to respond to common local economic development issues and to contribute to the prosperity and influence of Lanaudi\u00e8re by promoting the synergy of the region's economic players.

\ntheir business sector! To enable them to increase their sustainability, and thus meet growing consumer demand for more environmentally-friendly products and services. It's a stimulating project, perfectly in tune with the region's orientations, and one in which all local and regional economic development players will be involved. I would also like to point out that Lanaudi\u00e8re \u00c9conomique is particularly proud to be a stakeholder in this process by welcoming the \u00c9coleader Fund agent to its team. I can assure you that we will do everything in our power to ensure the success of this project,\" says Olivier Goyet, President of Lanaudi\u00e8re \u00c9conomique.<\/p>\n

The financial assistance offered by the \u00c9coleader Fund will enable companies to hire experts to help them implement eco-responsible practices and prepare for the acquisition of clean technologies. To enable them to carry out projects adapted to their reality, they can submit a company project or a cohort project, depending on whether they wish to meet specific or common needs. Assistance may be granted up to 30,000 $ per company for a project aimed at adopting eco-responsible practices, and up to 50,000 $ for a project aimed at acquiring clean technologies.<\/p>\n
