On March 26, the local gala of the OSEntreprendre Challenge<\/strong> of the Matawinie MRC, showcasing inspiring entrepreneurs who have taken action. There's no doubt that the MRC de Matawinie has much to be proud of, with no fewer than 16 business applications submitted this year.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four companies were crowned winners at the local D\u00e9fi OSEntrenprendre gala. In front of some twenty people gathered at the C\u00f4te \u00e0 Beausoleil craft brewery in Saint-Jean-de-Matha, economic development organizations such as SADC Matawinie and the D\u00e9veloppement Matawinie team highlighted the initiatives of local entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c9dith Gravel, Director General of the Matawinie RCM, said she was very inspired by the spirit of initiative of the people of Matawinie and proud of the dynamism of the entrepreneurial community. \"I'd like to congratulate all of tonight's award-winning companies and thank them for their contribution to our growth. It's important to believe in yourself and follow your dreams.\"<\/em>says Gravel. The D\u00e9fi OSEntreprendre is the perfect springboard for those who want to help build a proud, innovative, committed and prosperous Quebec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evening saw the celebration of four winners in two Challenge streams: 2 winners in the \"Business Creation\" stream, and 2 winners in the \"Doing Business Together\" stream.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

BUSINESS START-UP<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

During the start-up year, this component gives new entrepreneurs the opportunity to validate their project, expand their network and express their passion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shutter Doing business together<\/strong> of the D\u00e9fi OSEntreprendre showcases the diverse models of companies that stand out for their sourcing practices from Quebec suppliers. These inspiring companies have decided to do things differently and have a positive impact on the environment and their communities. Here are the two winners from the nine entries received:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Market gardeners established in Saint-Damien since 2008, Aux Jardins de la Berg\u00e8re<\/strong> grows certified organic fruits and vegetables. Their family farm offers organic baskets in the Lanaudi\u00e8re region, and welcomes customers to their on-farm boutique year-round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A winning partnership<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If the D\u00e9fi OSEntreprendre en Matawinie, supported by the MRC de Matawinie and SADC Matawinie, has become a key event in promoting the entrepreneurial spirit in the field, it's thanks to the close collaboration of the entrepreneurial community and numerous collaborators and partners, such as Services Qu\u00e9bec and Carrefour jeunesse-emploi Matawinie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the OSEntreprendre Challenge<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

OSEntreprendre's main activity, the OSEntreprendre Challenge<\/strong>has become a major Quebec movement, showcasing the entrepreneurial initiatives of tens of thousands of people every year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winning companies in the official D\u00e9fi OSEntreprendre categories will have the chance to represent the MRC de Matawinie at the regional final, to be held on April 29 in L'Assomption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The D\u00e9fi OSEntreprendre takes root at local, regional and national levels, thanks to more than 300 local leaders mobilized in the 17 regions of Quebec to spotlight local projects.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
