The Société d'aide au développement de la collectivité (SADC) Matawinie is proud to support Mr. Carl Paré in the start-up of his Rawdon-based company, Béton CP Inc. Thanks to the financial support he received through SADC Matawinie's Stratégie jeunesse program, the 31-year-old entrepreneur was able to purchase the equipment and materials needed to get the business up and running.

The mobilization of the Lanaudière region around the valorization of spent grain continues

The results of the study on the potential for horticultural and food processing applications were unveiled on September 13 at the Alchimiste microbrewery in Joliette, in the presence of companies and economic partners. All the partners have joined forces to address this issue, which affects 18 microbreweries in the region and more than 900 tonnes of spent grains to be recovered annually.
