Mentoring for entrepreneurs
Mentoring for entrepreneurs is an open, supportive relationship based on mutual trust and respect. In this privileged relationship, a volunteer mentor wishes to share his or her entrepreneurial experience by accompanying a mentee entrepreneur and putting his or her know-how at the latter's service.
Entrepreneurial mentoring enables the mentee to enhance his or her development as an entrepreneur, while gaining the perspective needed to better evaluate options and make decisions for him or herself.
BEING MENTORED:
- Are you an entrepreneur who would like to benefit from the experience and guidance of a mentor? We offer a matching service with experienced mentors.
- Are you interested in having a business mentor?
Mentoring for entrepreneurs is a powerful development tool... To go further, faster!
There are several advantages to pairing up with a mentor:
- Developing your entrepreneurial "savoir-être" ;
- Achieve a better balance between personal and professional life;
- Take advantage of outside judgment to inform your decisions;
- Break the isolation often experienced by entrepreneurs;
- Share your experiences with someone you can trust and who is willing to listen;
- The meetings are an opportunity to exchange ideas and ask questions;
BEING A MENTOR:
Become a mentor and share your experience with new entrepreneurs.
Do you wish you'd had an experienced mentor when you were starting out?
The mentor's role is to support the entrepreneur in his or her entrepreneurial know-how. Through their questions and ideas, they help the entrepreneur become aware of possible opportunities and solutions.
The mentor doesn't do the work for the mentee, he doesn't take charge. They help them find their own answers to their questions, and identify possible solutions. Through their questions and ideas, mentors raise awareness and shed new light on the entrepreneur's situation.

"Mentoring for me is a sharing between two individuals, both learn, both use their experience for a common goal; to make sure the mentee progresses."
Gilles Beauchamp, chief mentor.
