MANDATE DESCRIPTION :

Reporting to the General Manager, this position's main mandate is to carry out all activities related to accounting, contract management and the organization's day-to-day operations. In addition, the employee provides administrative support to business advisors in the follow-up of customer files and in carrying out local economic development activities. The main tasks related to this position are :

  • Perform all tasks related to the bookkeeping of the company's various funds and the preparation of the year-end financial audit
  • Manage SADC's accounting and payroll services
  • Is responsible for administrative tasks related to operations management, service contract management and administrative follow-up with partners and governments.
  • Carry out administrative follow-up of company financing files in collaboration with business advisors
  • Help upgrade the organization's administrative procedures and tools
  • All other related tasks

 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :

  • College diploma in accounting or office automation or equivalent
  • Proficiency in AVANTAGE accounting software (an important asset)
  • Minimum three years' experience in a similar position
  • Master the main computer programs needed for office work
  • Good verbal communication and teamwork skills
  • Impeccable command of written French.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS :

  • Full-time position 35 hours/week
  • Salary according to SADC salary policy.
  • Starting date: June 11, 2018
