Please Please note that we are no longer accepting new applications for the PAPETR project (Programme d'aide aux petites entreprises touristiques rurales). As the funds available for this program were very limited, the maximum number of applications has been reached. Thank you for your interest.
Together with its partners, the Société d'aide au développement des collectivités (SADC) Matawinie recently obtained a one-time, short-term program to support economic recovery in the tourism sector.
The PAPETR program (Programme d'aide aux petites entreprises touristiques rurales) will support certain tourism businesses in their investment projects, enabling them to adapt or develop their products and services to the needs of their customers, in order to sustain their development and seize the opportunities offered by the tourism revival.
Considering the funds very limited and having the constraint that projects must be completed before March 31, 2023, interested companies are invited to submit an application and must complete the form below, in addition to corresponding to the main terms and conditions of the program attached :
- For tourism and tourism-related businesses offering products or services to tourists
- Eligible companies must have sales of less than 2 million $
- Eligible projects are investment projects that enable you to adapt or develop your products and services to meet the needs of your clientele, in order to support your development and seize the opportunities offered by the tourism recovery (e.g. leasehold improvements, development and improvement of buildings and infrastructure intended for tourists, acquisition of equipment for tourists, etc.).
- The project must involve a minimum of 15,000 $
- The program's non-repayable contribution can cover up to 100% of eligible expenses, to a maximum of 45,000 $.
- The program does not cover the applicable tax portion of project expenses.
- All amounts in the project application and financial package must be indicated before taxes.
- The project must be completed and invoiced before March 31, 2023
- A project that began on 1er April 2022 and the last final payment is after October 18, 2022 may be eligible (retroactive)
IMPORTANT To be considered an officially submitted application, it must include the completed form, accompanied by financial statements (last year and interim statements for the current year, plus a forecast for the next 2 years) and project-related bids for eligible expenses.
*CFDCs have been allocated a defined and limited envelope for this program, which means that this one-time program will end as soon as our envelope is exhausted, based on the number of complete eligible applications received.
