On June 21, SADC Matawinie presented its 2017-2018 activity report at its annual general meeting held at Auberge de la Montagne Coupée in Saint-Jean-de-Matha.
Despite several departures among the team and board members, both temporary and permanent, SADC Matawinie succeeded in carrying out relevant projects and offering significant technical and financial support to the community.
957,000$ INJECTED INTO THE ECONOMY TO SUPPORT OUR REGION'S ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
This year, the SADC granted 957,000$ in loans to help MRC companies realize their business projects. This financial assistance generated total investments of over 3 M$. The 16 business projects financed led to the creation and maintenance of 121 jobs.
Business consolidation and job preservation were a priority for the organization. SADC took the opportunity to highlight the impact of its interventions and investments. What's more, all the concerted work carried out with local players at organizational, ministerial and municipal levels has laid a solid foundation for the future.
In addition, we cannot overlook the 22,000$ invested in local development, helping to generate overall investments of over 460,000$.
RETIREMENT
At this general meeting, the SADC Matawinie team was keen to mark the departure of our administrative assistant, Line Tessier, who was leaving for semi-retirement after 15 years with SADC Matawinie.
