Discover business opportunities in Matawinie... Thanks to the new website entreprendrematawinie.com

On October 19, the Société d'aide au développement de la collectivité (SADC) Matawinie unveiled the results of the commercial study conducted from March to July 2016, among the ten (10) participating municipalities on its territory. From this vast consultation process, to which 6.5% of the population responded, several commercial opportunities were identified and are now being promoted via the new web platform, entreprendrematawinie.com.

The Entreprendre Matawinie site is, first and foremost, a concerted and mobilizing project, the preliminary step of which was to survey the population on their real needs in terms of businesses and services. This process was carried out in close collaboration with municipal authorities and chambers of commerce, key players in the region's economic development. The results of this study have been compiled and highlight one (1) to three (3) star opportunities for each municipality. All the consultation reports are available on the site under "Studies". In concrete terms, the project has three (3) main objectives: to facilitate the start-up of new entrepreneurial projects, to enhance the product and service offering of existing businesses and, ultimately, to revitalize the living environment by responding concretely to the needs of citizens, vacationers and tourists visiting the municipalities concerned.

Entreprendre Matawinie is ideal for anyone wishing to start a business, looking for a new business opportunity or conducting a market study. The Matawinie RCM is a vast territory with immense potential, less than an hour from major urban centers, and this site is a showcase for it. As this platform is intended to be a living, evolving tool, entrepreneurs, municipalities, regional development organizations and real estate agents are invited to post new business opportunities on the site. You can submit a vacant commercial building, a business for sale, a franchise or a local need, and the service is completely free of charge.

This project, carried out by SADC Matawinie, was made possible thanks to a close partnership with the participating municipalities: Saint-Donat, Saint-Jean-de-Matha, Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci, Saint-Damien, Saint-Alphonse-Rodriguez, Sainte-Émélie-de-l'Énergie, Saint-Félix-de-Valois, Saint-Michel-des-Saints, Saint-Côme and Chertsey. The Service de développement local et régional de la MRC Matawinie also joined the project as a partner in the development of the web platform.
