Mandate description

Reporting to the General Manager, this position's main mandate is to carry out all activities related to accounting, contract management and the organization's day-to-day operations. In addition, the employee provides administrative support to business advisors in the follow-up of customer files and in carrying out local economic development activities.

 

Under the supervision of General Management, the Administrative and Accounting Assistant's main objectives will be to:

  • Perform all tasks related to the bookkeeping of the company's various funds and the preparation of the year-end financial audit;
  • Provide accounting and payroll services for the SADC;
  • Responsible for administrative tasks related to operations management, service contract management and administrative follow-up with partners and governments;
  • Carry out administrative follow-up of company financing files in collaboration with business advisors;
  • Help upgrade the organization's administrative procedures and tools;
  • Perform all general secretarial duties
  • All other related tasks

Qualifications required:

  • College diploma in accounting or office automation or equivalent;
  • Proficiency in AVANTAGE accounting software (an important asset);
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a similar position;
  • Master the main computer programs needed for office work;
  • Demonstrate exemplary professional attitude and customer service orientation
  • Good verbal communication and teamwork skills;
  • Fluent written French

Conditions:

  • Hiring date: June 2019
  • Salary: According to SADC Matawinie's salary policy
  • Flexible working hours: 35 hours per week
  • Maternity leave replacement 1 year
