Sealant St-Laurent, based in Saint-Alphonse-Rodriguez. Thanks to the financial support received via the Stratégie jeunesse program and the SADC Investment Fund, the 23-year-old entrepreneur will be able to get his season off to a flying start, with the purchase of specialized equipment.
Sealant St-Laurent is a young company specializing in asphalt maintenance. The company's service offering focuses primarily on the rejuvenation and appearance of asphalt, to ensure its preservation with the aim of extending its lifespan, at both residential and commercial levels. With a turnkey service that ensures the safety, circulation and appearance of parking spaces, Sealant St-Laurent serves the greater Lanaudière region, both north and south.
The company's services include line and pictogram marking. Since every business or commercial building has a parking lot, it's imperative to ensure the smooth flow of traffic, Sealant St-Laurent takes care of line marking and pictograms such as arrows, signs, logos, reserved parking spaces, handicapped spaces, and much more. "After a few years, the lines tend to disappear little by little, so it's necessary to redo them to ensure that parking is efficient and doesn't interfere with the company's activities." - Laurent-Olivier Dumont. The Airboss 300 tank enables the company to enrich its asphalt sealer with silica sand. What's more, the 1000-litre tank enables the company to cover larger areas more efficiently.
Of course, the company also handles the crack-filling and asphalt-sealing portion of the business. Application is by hand, using specialized brushes for superior results. For larger surfaces, the application method is somewhat different: pressure spraying to effectively cover all surfaces. The application of crack sealant reduces the spread of cracks and the risk of potholes. A SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEUR
Laurent-Olivier Dumont is a 23-year-old entrepreneur. He holds a University Diploma in Business Administration, majoring in Entrepreneurship and Business Development, as well as a Certificate in Marketing from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. During his university studies, he was a member of the university cross-country and track and field teams, competing at the highest levels in Canada. This experience enabled him to gain diversified experience, as well as developing leadership qualities, rigor and dedication to all the projects he undertook. As captain of his team during his final season, he also learned to motivate, direct and inspire his teammates.
