The first edition of the Colloque en gestion des ressources humaines de Matawinie was held at the Rawdon Golf Club.
The event was a resounding success, meeting the expectations of the nearly 70 participants in attendance. Company directors, team managers and HR managers were all able to take away concrete tools that could be transferred to their professional environment. The various speakers and HR specialists delivered outstanding performances. Motivational speaker Carol Allain introduced the day with a talk on teamwork and employee motivation. Julie Tardif and Caroline Laroche, from Iceberg Management, spoke about recruiting and retaining talent. David Hervieux, founder and CEO of Devolutions, brought the day to a close with a testimonial on his reality as a business leader, his employer brand culture and his entrepreneurial journey. The organizing committee would like to highlight the contribution of Mr. Jean-Pierre Alarie, who animated the day with brio.
Organized by the Bureau Services Québec de Rawdon and the Centre local d'emploi de St-Jean-de-Matha, with the collaboration of the Chambre de commerce de la Haute-Matawinie, the Société d'aide au développement de la collectivité de Matawinie and Carrefour jeunesse-emploi Matawinie, the colloquium was certainly a highly anticipated key event in the region.
On the strength of the results obtained, everything is in place for a potential second edition in the years to come.
