The Société d'aide au développement de la collectivité (SADC) Matawinie is proud to support Mr. Olivier St-Georges and Mrs. Béatrice Lavoie in the acquisition of the company Propane Sylvain Laforest which becomes Propane St-Georgeslocated in Saint-Zénon. Thanks to the financial support received via the Stratégie jeunesse program and the Fonds d'investissement de la SADC Matawinie, the buyers were able to carry out this transfer and ensure the company's prosperity.
Having begun operations in 2003, the company Propane Sylvain Laforest was involved in the distribution and filling of bulk propane gas in the municipality of Saint-Zénon. After more than 15 years in business, Mr. St-Georges and Ms. Lavoie took over the company's activities, continuing to sell, distribute and rent propane cylinders and equipment for the residential, commercial, industrial and tourist markets. In addition to installation and repair, the company offers several sizes of propane cylinders: 100 pounds, 60 pounds and 33 pounds.
Mr. St-Georges has professional training in machining techniques and numerical control. Having worked for the past 2 years as a machinist foreman, Olivier St-Georges is now ensuring the company's continuity. Propane St-Georges as a co-shareholder of the company, and is responsible for the continuation of propane delivery service in the region.
Ms. Béatrice Lavoie trained as a medical secretary. As the 2nde company shareholder Propane St-GeorgesIn her role as manager, she takes charge of the company's accounting, call management, onsite customer sourcing and visibility.
