The Société d'aide au développement de la collectivité (SADC) Matawinie is proud to announce the creation of a new business, Le Petit Walk-in Inc.a boutique specializing in clothing for children and infants. Thanks to financial support from SADC Matawinie's Stratégie jeunesse program, the new business recently opened its doors in Rawdon, Lanaudière.
Mrs. Véronique Lord-Dufresne, owner of le Petit Walk-in IncMs. Lord-Dufresne is a businesswoman who has been active for many years as a real estate investor, but she is also a mother with a passion for business. With a degree in finance and accounting, for Ms. Lord-Dufresne, this is a mother's dream come true. She wanted to offer parents a unique place to dress toddlers and older children alike. "Le Petit Walk-in is a family business committed to the happiness of local families," she emphasizes.
The store Le Petit Walk-in stands out for its wide variety of clothing, accessories and specialty gifts for babies, kids and teens. Located near Queen Street, on the 6e avenue, the store is a tasteful, family-friendly place that offers sought-after, high-quality products. The store also features a play corner to keep children occupied while parents store. For those who prefer to shop online, Le Petit Walk-in Inc. offers an online store where you can make your purchases remotely.
Véronique Lord-Dufresne carefully selects the items that come into the boutique, and is proud to support Quebec businesses both here and abroad. Brands include Perlin pinpin, Deux par Deux, Calikids, Nike and Levis, as well as similar everyday garments to appeal to all types of customer.
Financial support for the boutique Le Petit Walk-in Inc. covers start-up costs, including initial inventory, the purchase of computer equipment and commercial development. The project will also create one full-time and one part-time job.
SADC Matawinie is proud to have supported Véronique Lord-Dufresne in the development of her new business. The coaching and financing offered through the Stratégie jeunesse, Futurpreneur and Créavenir programs enabled her to bring her business project to fruition.
