SADC Matawinie's goal was to create an opportunity for local entrepreneurs to meet and network, and we can say: Mission accomplished, all available tickets were sold. The 1era edition of the Souper tournant des gens d'affaires attracted just over a hundred people, including entrepreneurs, economic development partners and municipal representatives. All agreed that it was a resounding success!Great encounters, fruitful exchanges and, above all, fun. The evening was tinged with the dynamism of the entrepreneurs present. "An excellent networking opportunity and splendid organization. The evening enabled me to make numerous contacts, in addition to two potential contracts. I couldn't have expected better immediate results," says Robert D. Morais, of Le CHÊNE et le SAULE film.
In addition, Mr. Raphaël Levac of Garage Jacques Racine, and Mr. Sylvain Lafortune of Compo-Recycle, generously shared their experiences as entrepreneurs, as well as the realities and challenges of their sector. Their testimonials set the stage for discussions on the various themes addressed, namely marketing, eco-efficiency and human resources. The dinner was rich in discussion, with the sharing of experience, know-how and information.
Michel Clément, General Manager of SADC Matawinie, shared his enthusiasm: "SADC Matawinie is proud of the success of this first edition. The response from entrepreneurs to our invitation, as well as the dynamic exchanges during the evening, clearly demonstrate the relevance of this event for business people in the Matawinie RCM. Our territory is vast, and we need to capitalize on the strengths of our community. We have everything to gain from exchanges and sharing between businesses from different backgrounds and sectors."
We would like to thank the municipality of Saint-Côme for hosting the event and providing the hall. The Chambers of Commerce of the Matawinie MRC, and the Commission de développement économique de Saint-Donat for their invaluable collaboration. We also acknowledge the contribution of Tc Média, Dupuis et associés, l'Alchimiste, Imprimerie Pinard and Vignoble le Mernois, for the prizes and freebies offered during the evening.
