Your role at SADC
Provide advisory services and financing to Matawinie businesses to support their start-up and growth, as well as implement, develop or support economic initiatives related to business development. In addition, you'll administer some of SADC's special business-related programs, and coordinate the mentoring service in Matawinie. What's more, you'll be making a real difference on the local scene when it comes to sustainable development.
Under the supervision of general management, you will be responsible for :
- Accompany and assist promoters in the analysis, development and follow-up of their business projects, whether they are start-ups, expansions, consolidations or turnarounds, particularly in business succession and transfer cases;
- Develop training or networking activities for companies according to their needs;
- Develop management tools for companies;
- Coordinate the business mentoring service for entrepreneurs;
- Develop activities related to entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs aged 18-39;
- Collaborate or produce portraits of the region and certain markets and economic trends;
- Encourage the emergence and implementation of development projects and initiatives in various economic sectors;
- Work in collaboration with local organizations;
- Represent SADC Matawinie on various committees and events;
- Support the deployment of special programs and the financial analysis of eligible companies
- Perform any other tasks assigned by general management.
Do you have the profile of our rare pearl?
- University studies in administration, management, regional development or a related field
- Analytical skills
- Strong sense of autonomy, organization and initiative
- Sensitivity to sustainable development values
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position
- Leadership, communication and outreach skills
- Good oral and written skills in French (English an asset)
- Own a car for frequent travel in the MRC and region
