The Société d'aide au développement de la collectivité (SADC) Matawinie is proud to have supported Mrs Chantal Labelle of the company La Belle Gousse through its consulting and technical support services.
Thanks to the expertise of SADC Matawinie, Chantal Labelle has been awarded financial assistance of up to 25,000$ from the Ministère de l'Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l'Alimentation du Québec through the Programme Territoires : relèves, entrepreneuriat et entreprises de petite taille. This financial assistance will enable Ms. Labelle to be equipped to meet the demand for high-quality black garlic, and to position herself for the Lanaudière region. The assistance will also be used to fully equip the new processing kitchen.
Established in Saint-Damien in a country farmhouse since 2011, La Belle Gousse specializes in autumn garlic. Driven by the desire to offer a high-quality product, Madame Labelle opted for ecological cultivation, without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Over the years, the company has evolved towards enhancing the value of the earth's produce by processing garlic and garlic flowers. Our recipes are based on the principle of local economy, and all our products are prepared with local ingredients. To protect the environment, La Belle Gousse has adopted eco-responsible packaging in line with the zero-waste trend.
Among the products offered are: vinaigrettes, pestos, salts, seasonings, gift products and much more. Products from La Belle Gousse are available year-round, at the farm and at various sales outlets in the region. To visit the Facebook of the company : https://www.facebook.com/bellegousse.stdamien/
