Lanaudière Économique, of which SADC Matawinie is a member, and the Association pour le développement de la recherche et de l'innovation du Québec are proud to announce the signing of an agreement making Lanaudière Économique the main regional contact for ADRIQ - RCTi.

Innovation is one of Lanaudière Économique's regional economic priorities. Helping companies by providing access to experts and links with research and development bodies are important levers for boosting competitiveness.

On October 9, the Lanaudière region hosted the second edition of the "L'Innovation c'est payant - Lanaudière Laurentides (2L)" symposium, which brought together nearly 120 participants from research organizations, companies and local and regional stakeholders at Le Mirage Golf Club in Terrebonne. The heads of ADRIQ and Lanaudière Économique took advantage of the event to seal their agreement.

"This new Regional Innovation Partner (PRI) will enable innovative companies and economic stakeholders to benefit from specialized support services by calling on the expertise of ADRIQ's Réseau Conseil," says Jean-Louis Legault, President and CEO of ADRIQ-RCTi.

"In addition to the already very active local business coaching provided by RCTi advisors, this agreement opens the door to other regional innovation initiatives," says Claude Robichaud, vice-president of Lanaudière Économique. "Lanaudière benefits from direct access to ADRIQ's network and programming," he adds. He also points out that Lanaudière Économique shares several objectives with ADRIQ-RCTi, such as stimulating and fostering a culture of innovation through the implementation of innovation-related best business practices, and supporting SMEs in their growth process.
