New company in Saint-Côme: TRÉCARRÉ MICROBRASSERIE INC.

The Société d'aide au développement de la collectivité (SADC) Matawinie is proud to announce setting up a new business, Trécarré Microbrasserie inc.located in Saint-Côme. The project is the result of a collaboration between four men who decided to join forces to create THE meeting place for epicureans and craft beer lovers.

Trécarré Microbrewery officially opened its doors on December 26.

Pierre-Hugues Marsolais, Jean-Philippe Kiernan, Pascal Fiset and Marc Cloutier decided to join forces, combining all their skills and knowledge to bring to light a project they had had in mind for a long time. The four of them set about launching Trécarré Microbrasserie inc.The four partners, all equally passionate and qualified, have experience in catering, maple syrup production, brewing techniques, business and food service management and agriculture, as well as a keen interest in the development of Quebec's heritage. With a well-defined vision, these four equally passionate and qualified associates realized a dream they had been cherishing and preparing for two years.

Located in an ancestral home on the Village of Saint-Côme's main street, the company has three distinct, yet interdependent, divisions. Trécarré Microbrasserie inc. is dedicated to the creation, production and distribution of high-quality, avant-garde craft beers, as well as standardized beers. The microbrewery also offers bistro-style cuisine based on refined local produce and seasonal products. The microbrewery offers a bistro-brasserie formula with local flavours, while at the same time becoming a major tourist attraction in the Matawinie region. In all, the microbrewery will have 70 seats, including a terrace that will be open in summer. The owners will welcome beer lovers, tourists and locals from Thursday to Sunday.

SADC Matawinie is proud to have supported Mr Marsolais, Mr Kiernan, Mr Fiset and Mr Cloutier in the development of their business.r new business. The support and financing provided by the Investment Fund enabled them to get their business project off the ground.

SADC Matawinie is a non-profit socio-economic development organization that has been contributing to the vitality of its community for 25 years. True to its mandate, it offers flexible financial products to start-up, growth and succession businesses. The Fonds d'investissement de la SADC Matawinie offers local businesses a loan for start-up, acquisition, modernization, expansion or other projects. The maximum contribution is $150,000$.
