The Community Futures Development Corporations (CFDCs) of Lanaudière (Achigan-Montcalm, de Autray-Joliette and Matawinie), together with their partners and local entrepreneurs, today officially unveiled their new corporate identity. This new visual identity, which is also provincially integrated, will guide the Lanaudière SADCs towards a common vision and a new positioning for their future actions. This change of image is an opportunity to underline the regional involvement of the SADCs and to confirm their commitment as figureheads of economic development.
Lanaudière's SADCs want to play an even more active role in community development. The renewal of agreements with the Canada Economic Development Agency, valued at nearly $154 million over five years, and the new regional small business financing partnership with the Business Development Bank of Canada have confirmed that CFDCs play an active role in economic development.
"These new partnerships underline the fact that CFDCs are here to stay," assures Pierre Marois, President of the Réseau des SADC et CAE and President of the SADC de Autray-Joliette. He added: "SADCs have been involved in regional development for over 25 years, and now want to consolidate their positioning and business partnerships to boost the regional economy.
Recognized positioning
To launch its next five-year cycle of activity, the Lanaudière SADCs are sporting a new brand image, developed by the firm lg2 on behalf of the Réseau des SADC et CAE. From now on, all SADCs will have the same visual identity, which will gradually be integrated into each of their marketing and communications strategies. Inspiring confidence and dynamism, the new logo and visual serve as a support and reference, reinforcing the corporate brand.
"With this new brand image, the SADCs aim to become leaders and forerunners in community diversification," enthuses Claude Chartier, General Manager of SADC Achigan-Montcalm and member of the Réseau des SADC et CAE communications committee. In addition to consolidating and creating business partnerships, Lanaudière's SADCs will be pooling their energies to foster entrepreneurship and projects of regional scope.
The new image also expresses the strengths of SADCs, which are recognized for their flexibility, performance and passion. Lanaudière's SADCs have always been active, enabling businesses, young promoters and communities to benefit from a complete range of financial products and services adapted to their realities.
Over the past three years alone, Lanaudière's SADCs have granted over 12.7 M$ in loans to Lanaudière businesses, generating 57.7 M$ in local investment. The projects supported helped create and maintain 1,959 jobs in the region.
