The first edition of this brand-new training and development program for entrepreneurs in the Matawinie RCM has already been completed. Twelve (12) participants benefited from the Savoir entreprendre program, which ran from December to June in Saint-Alphonse-Rodriguez. Initiated by the Société d'aide au développement de la collectivité (SADC) Matawinie to enhance support for young businesses, the program's objective was to help improve the skills of managers and support the growth of their businesses. By offering business networking, training and coaching, it aims more specifically to support entrepreneurs in the first years of growth, a pivotal stage for the survival of the business.

The program's closing ceremony was held on June 7 at the new Fromagerie Roy company in Rawdon, in the presence of the project's partners and collaborators. The entrepreneurs in attendance were presented with an accreditation highlighting their training achievements, as well as a free business mentoring membership. Jonathan Landreville, Director of SADC Matawinie, also took the opportunity to announce the SADC's intention to organize a 2e program cohort starting next fall.
The program would not have been possible without the invaluable contribution of our partners, who firmly believed in the benefits of such a project from the outset, and who have been involved throughout. We would therefore like to thank Emploi Québec Lanaudière and Desjardins Entreprises Lanaudière, major partners in the program. We would also like to acknowledge the contribution of the Business Development Bank of Canada.
