The OSEntreprendre Challenge is now ready to receive registrations for its 24th editionpresented by Desjardins.
The only one of its kind, the Défi encourages those with the audacity to take action. A powerful source of pride, the Défi OSEntreprendre has been inspiring entrepreneurial spirit in the 17 regions of Quebec for 20 years, mobilizing a multitude of players in the educational, economic and social networks.
OSEntreprendre MOBILIZE a wide network of partners to make RAYONNER entrepreneurial initiatives to INSPIRE a greater number of people to believe in themselves and dare to be enterprising. Once again this year, a ton of pride to offer and more than 800,000 $s to be returned to stock exchange to winners at local, regional and national levels.
Business creation section
- The Business Creation program offers new entrepreneurs the opportunity to validate their project, obtain grants, expand their network and express their passion during their start-up year;
- This component is aimed at people aged 18 and over who have a business project and are in the early stages of realizing it. Business projects must not have generated sales revenue before April 1, 2021, and, in the case of a project to create a business, the start-up date must be no later than December 31, 2022.
Volet Réussite inc.
- The Réussite inc. section showcases companies that have already taken part in the Défi OSEntreprendre and are still in business after five years, with a track record that combines five aspects of success: achievements, values, finances, outlook and teamwork.
Doing business together section
- The Doing Business Together program showcases companies that stand out for the evolution of their procurement practices with local suppliers. Whether choosing a hotel or a packaging manufacturer, every decision to do business together has tangible benefits that help forge a proud, innovative, committed and prosperous Quebec.
Three levels... three levels of visibility
Three selection stages are necessary to determine the national winners of the OSEntreprendre Challenge. Participants who pass the first local selection stage will have their project re-analyzed at the regional level.
Bursaries in Lanaudière
More than 26,000 $ in bursaries will be awarded in Lanaudière at the regional gala on April 26. In addition to a number of special prizes, regional winners will be awarded scholarships worth 500 $ in the School section, 1,000 $ in the Business Creation section, 5,000 $ in the Success Inc. section and 2,000 $ in the Doing Business Together section. The visibility that the Défi OSEntreprendre brings to the Lanaudière region is even more attractive than the potential bursaries!
But the great Défi OSEntreprendre movement doesn't stop there. Regional winners will have the chance to represent Lanaudière and showcase their projects on a national scale at the Grands Prix Desjardins Gala on June 8, 2022, where the energy, passion and audacity of the next generation of entrepreneurs will be celebrated.
