The Société d'aide au développement de la collectivité (SADC) Matawinie is proud to support Jessica Durand in her efforts to develop her business. the expansion of Esthétique Jessielocated in Ste-Émélie-de-l'Énergie. Thanks to the financial support received through SADC Matawinie's Stratégie jeunesse program, which includes a two-year interest exemption, the company will benefit from additional equipment in a second, brand-new premises.
Founded just over 10 years ago by Ms. Jessica Durand, Esthétique Jessie operates in the beauty field. Previously a tenant, Ms. Durand acquired an income property in 2014 to open a professional beauty salon. A graduate in aesthetic care, she has been operating her business since she was 18, and has a diverse range of experience offering specialized, quality services. From nail care to make-up, teeth whitening to skin care, Ms. Durand has taken several training courses to obtain certifications, as well as accreditation for various specific skin treatments.
Due to its growing customer base and full capacity, Madame Durand will be moving to a brand new location in Saint-Côme. This will enable her existing customers in Saint-Côme to be served close to home, but also to attract new customers. The addition of new equipment is essential to the launch of this new project, which will continue to focus on beauty and body care, as well as more specialized treatments. The new location will create one new job and maintain two existing ones.
SADC Matawinie is proud to have supported Ms. Durand in the expansion of her business through coaching and financial support via its Youth Strategy program.
SADC Matawinie is a non-profit socio-economic development organization that has been contributing to the vitality of its community for 25 years. True to its mandate, it offers flexible financial products to start-up, growth and succession businesses. SADC's Stratégie jeunesse program encourages the acquisition, start-up, expansion or modernization of a business by young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 35. The maximum contribution is 25,000 $.
